I just posted a new poem that I call SPACE
For sometime now I have been fascinated with the lyrics of a mantra and song called Heart of the Universe by Snatam Kaur and Peter Kater . In the poem I have simply intertwined the lyrics of the song Heart of the Universe with two lines from The Actual Dance. You can listen to the song here.
In many ways the poem I created and the song itself tell the story of the show in just a few lines. It suggests, and I believe, there is a “space” that exists within us and around us that we have to be able to occupy to be present to do certain things in life. Finding that space is helped by picturing the images painted for us by Peter and Snatam in The Heart of the Universe. I hope you agree and enjoy reading it the poem and listening to the song.
